Yoga for everybody, these traditional yoga practices are adapted as required to suit a wide range of abilities and levels of mobility.

You will flow through sequences of seated, standing and floor yoga poses adapted to suit each individual, with meditation, breathing practice (pranayama) and guided relaxation (Yoga nidra).

This class is open to anyone living with a health condition which affects confidence, mobility and physical ability.
I am passionate about making Yoga accessible to everyone and have worked as an Exercise Referral Instructor for the last 14 years alongside local councils and the NHS, running Specialist Classes in areas such as Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise after Stroke, Cancer Rehabilitation And Postural Stability amongst others.

Research has shown that Yoga can help with pain, fatigue and stress management, strength, flexibility and balance, and improve your sense of well-being. No prior knowledge of yoga or level of fitness/flexibility is required, and all equipment is provided. However, for safety, you will need to be able to get on and off the floor using a chair and minimal assistance.

Brave Move is wheelchair accessible. There is free on street parking around the studio, or a small car park near the Totterdown Tesco Express. You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before the class to relax and enjoy a cup of tea with other students in the studio.

Class size limited to 8 people to allow individual attention.
If you have any questions, or are unsure if this is the right class for you, please feel free to get in touch.
